Helsinki es la capital y la ciudad más grande de Finlandia, con casi 600.000 personas viviendo en la ciudad y poco más de 1.3 Millones si añadimos el área metropolitana (que incorpora tres grandes núcleos: Espoo, Vantaa y Kauniainen.)

Aunque la ciudad es pequeña, se necesita una buena red de transporte público. Por ello, Helsinki tiene un sistema de transportes públicos completo y muy popular. La ciudad consolidada está servida por diez líneas de tranvías, operadas por HKL para HSL, el ente regional que regula el transporte del área metropolitana, además de una línea de metro que conecta los barrios del este con el centro, en fase de expansión hacia el oeste, también operada por HKL. También dispone de trenes regionales y casi 120 líneas de autobuses que operan en la propia ciudad y otras que la conectan con municipios del área metropolitana gestionadas por cuatro empresas: Helsingin Bussiliikenne Oy , Concordia Bus Finland Oy Ab, Oy Pohjolan Kaupunkiliikenne Ab. y Veolia Transport Oy.

El 32, como tal, no existe, pero sí que he encontrado el 732, operado por Veolia. Una de las casi 110 líneas regionales. En este caso, se trata de una ruta que conecta Helsinki con Havukoski, al norte de Vantaa. El tiempo estimado del viaje completo es de 40 minutos y su frecuencia está en torno a los 30 minutos, variando según la hora del día.
