BANGKOK BUSES AMIDST THE CHAOTIC TRAFIC - LOS AUTOBUSES DE BANGKOK ENTRE EL TRÁFICO CAÓTICO

La línea 32, en Bangkok, realiza un largo trayecto, como en Zaragoza. Parte de Pak kred y se dirige a Wat Pho (Thatian). Varias son las compañias que sirven esta línea. Los precios oscilan entre los 7 y 8 baht (14 cts de Euro). En el caso de la línea 32, está servida por autobuses con aire acondicionado (ISUZUs de piso alto) y sin aire acondicionado (Hinos rojos de piso alto). Los horarios son un poco irregulares, así que su paso oscila entre los 5 y los 10 minutos. Conecta la zona antigua de Bangkok con el extrarradio (cerca de Nonthaburi).

Los autobuses se engloban en un consorcio que regula el transporte de viajeros en la zona metropolitana de Bangkok, la BMTA.

Según los datos, la BMTA dispone de 102 rutas, servidas por 3578 autobuses, de los que 1673 son autobuses normales, y 1905 son con aire acondicionado. También hay otros 3415 autobuses estándar y con aire acondicionado, así como 1118 microbuses que también operan bajo la BMTA, que dan servicio a las pequeñas calles (Soi).

Route 32, in Bangkok runs along a long route, like Zaragoza. It starts in Parkkred heading towards Wat Pho(Thatian) where you find the terminus. Several companies operate this route. Prices vary depending on the company and type of bus, between 7 and 8 baht (14 cts of Euro). In route 32, we find several buses: Aircon buses are normally high floor ISUZU's and the non aircons are red high floor Hinos. Timetables are not fixed, so you could be waiting between 5 or 10 minutes to get one... or two, as it happens. The route connects the old Bangkok inner city with the outer suburb of Pak Kret (near Nonthaburi).

All the different buses are regulated by the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA).

Data available shows that the BMTA operated a total of 102 routes, served by 3,578 buses, of which 1,673 were regular buses and 1,905 air-conditioned buses. There were also privately-owned buses operated under the BMTA with a total of, 3,415 regular and air-conditioned buses and 1,118 minibuses including 2,077 small buses which provide services in lanes (Soi).
